The internet is full of discussions about “human nature.” Strangely, very few people truly understand it.
Some like to explain human nature through culture, geography, or nationality.
But if you read Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People or Machiavelli’s The Prince, you will discover something far more fundamental:

Human nature exists wherever there are humans.
It has no national borders, no ethnic variations; it is the same “factory setting” everywhere.

Yet there is a huge difference between knowing human nature and seeing through human nature.


I. The Paradoxical and Schrödinger-like Quality of Human Nature

The most distinctive feature of human nature is contradiction.

  • A stingy person may suddenly donate to a beggar
  • A timid person in real life becomes a moral warrior online
  • We enjoy watching others get scolded, yet become furious when it happens to us

These are not exceptions—they are norms.

Human nature is like a blind box:
Before events happen, we have no idea whether the result will reveal the angel or the demon.

This unpredictability is what I call the Schrödinger property of human nature.


II. Why Must We Understand Human Nature?

Understanding human nature is not about becoming manipulative—it is about avoiding destruction by reality.

Every master of business, power, and social dynamics understands human nature.

Human nature is the foundation beneath everything.
If you don’t understand the foundation, how can you build the skyscraper of career, relationships, or decisions?

This is why I propose the idea of a human nature breakthrough.


III. What Does “Breakthrough” Mean? What Are You Breaking Through?

To break through means to see through three layers:

  1. See through human nature itself
  2. See through the essence and structure behind events
  3. See through the future trajectory and outcome

Most people live inside a human nature cage, without knowing it:

  • Our cognition is pre-installed
  • Our values are pre-shaped
  • Our expectations are pre-designed

Example:
Confucian values did not rise to power because they were poetic or romantic, but because they helped the emperor govern the masses.

Without such a value system, how could a ruler make millions of people obedient and compliant?

This isn’t conspiracy—it’s historical practicality.


IV. Emotion: The Easiest Tool for Manipulation

We think we are “feeling,” but often we are simply “being guided”:

  • A sad song makes us cry → the composer intended that
  • A movie makes us immerse → the director designed that
  • Emotionally touching ads make us buy → marketers planned that
  • Salespeople hype us into purchasing → they prey on our emotional weak spots

We think these feelings are “ours,”
but in reality, we are constantly being harvested.

Love works the same way:

  • Who defined love?
  • Why does it work?
  • Why does it collapse?
  • Why can it become an industry?

When you realize that emotion can be monetized, you understand why people willingly pay for it.


V. The Three Stages of Growth: Pure → Broken → Awakened

A truly awakened person usually goes through three stages:

1. The Pure Stage

  • Believes in the goodness of the world
  • Believes friendship, love, and family are unconditional
  • Believes no one wants to harm them

The outcome?
Many pure people remain at the bottom of society because they lack defense mechanisms.


2. The Broken Stage

Purity collides with reality and breaks:

  • Social gatherings turn into comparison contests
  • Borrowed money turns into nightmare
  • The closest people hurt you the most
  • When you prosper, you have “brothers”
  • When you fall, there’s no one left

Most people get stuck here—confused, bitter, depressed, cynical.


3. The Awakening Stage

A small portion navigate through the pain and gain insight:

The world has shadows.
Human hearts have darkness.
Appearance is not truth.
Motive is the key.

This is the beginning of real awakening.


VI. How Do Awakened People View the World?

Awakened people share one ability:

They ignore the surface and go straight to the motive.

Because the base rule of human nature is simple:

People act from self-interest.

Examples:

  • Men scam women through emotional rhetoric → exploiting emotional weakness
  • Gurus scam entrepreneurs through “get-rich” stories → exploiting greed
  • Strangers scam the elderly through care and companionship → exploiting loneliness

You are not the exception. You are the pattern.

Therefore, here is the core principle:

There is no causeless love, and no causeless hate.


Conclusion: Where Are You Right Now?

We have discussed the journey from purity, to brokenness, to awakening—a cognitive progression about human nature.

Now ask yourself:

Which stage are you currently in?

  • Pure?
  • Broken?
  • Awakening?

Only when you answer this honestly
can you truly begin your human nature breakthrough.

关于“人性”,网上的讨论已经铺天盖地,但奇怪的是,真正理解它的人却很少。
有人喜欢用地域、文化或国籍为人性优劣贴标签,但翻开卡耐基的《人性的弱点》,或马基雅维利的《君主论》,你会发现一个更本质的事实:

只要是人,就有人性。
人性没有国界,没有民族差异,它是全球统一的“出厂设置”。

然而,“知道”人性和“看懂”人性,是两个完全不同的境界。


一、人性的矛盾与薛定谔性

人性最大的特征就是矛盾且不可预测:

  • 斤斤计较的人可能转头施舍乞丐;
  • 现实中怂得不敢讲话的人,网上却成为道德斗士;
  • 看别人被骂会窃喜,被骂时又怒不可遏。

这些不是例外,而是普遍现象。
人性更像一个盲盒:拆开前充满期待,拆开后可能是天使,也可能是魔鬼。

在事件发生之前,谁也不知道自己或他人的人性会呈现什么面目,这就是人性的“薛定谔特性”。


二、为什么要懂人性?

懂人性不是为了变坏,而是为了在现实中不被碾压。

商业高手、社会高手、组织高手无一不深谙人性。

你可以想象:
人性就是一栋大楼的地基,你连地基都不理解,还想建摩天大楼?那一定是泡沫,最终崩塌。

这就是我为什么要提出“人性破局”的原因。


三、什么叫“破局”?破的是什么?

要想破局,你至少要看破三样东西:

  1. 看破人性本身
  2. 看破事物背后的本质与规律
  3. 看破未来的走向和结局

我们多数人其实活在一个“人性牢笼”里,但自己不知道。

  • 我们的认知被提前设定
  • 我们的价值观被提前教化
  • 我们的期待被提前塑造

例如儒家价值观的存在,不是因为它多浪漫,而是因为它可以帮助皇帝管理臣民
没有这套思想体系,如何让广大臣民听话、顺从、服从?
所以底层的认知从出生就被框好——这不是阴谋,而是历史。


四、情绪是最容易被操控的武器

我们以为自己在“主动感受”,但很多时候我们只是“被调动”:

  • 听歌哭得稀里哗啦 → 作曲者想要的效果
  • 看电影全情投入 → 编剧导演的目的
  • 被广告感动掏钱 → 运营方的战略
  • 被销售煽动入坑 → 人性弱点被抓住

我们以为“这是我的情”,但本质上我们只是在被收割

爱情也是一样的:

  • 爱情是谁定义的?
  • 为什么能成立?
  • 为什么会幻灭?
  • 为什么成为产业?

等你看清“情”可以被当作敛财工具,你就明白为什么那么多人愿意为它付钱。


五、人生成长的三阶段:纯真 → 破碎 → 觉醒

一个真正觉醒的人,一般走过三个阶段:

① 纯真期

  • 相信世界真善美
  • 相信友情爱情亲情都是无条件的
  • 相信别人不会害自己

结局是什么?
这类人多数在社会底层,因为他们缺乏自我保护机制。

② 破碎期

当纯真遇到现实,就会发生破碎:

  • 聚会变成炫耀大会
  • 借钱变成追债噩梦
  • 最亲近的人伤你最深
  • 风光时皆兄弟,落魄时无人问

很多人卡死在这一阶段,郁闷、困惑、痛苦、抑郁。

③ 觉醒期

少数人从破碎中找到了答案:

原来世界有黑暗
原来人心有阴影
原来表象只是表象
原来动机才是关键

这才叫真正的觉醒。


六、清醒的人怎么看世界?

清醒的人有一个共同能力:

不看表象,只看动机。

因为人性的底层原则只有一句:

人都是从自我利益出发行动。

举几个现实例子:

  • 骗女人靠甜言蜜语 → 利用了情绪弱点
  • 骗创业者靠暴富故事 → 利用了贪婪弱点
  • 骗老人靠关怀和陪伴 → 利用了孤独弱点

你以为你是例外?
其实你只是典型。

所以我给一句底层逻辑:

这个世界没有无缘无故的爱,也没有无缘无故的恨。

我们谈了从单纯到破碎,再到觉醒,这是人性认知的进阶过程。

现在问题来了:

你目前在哪一段?

  • 纯真?
  • 破碎?
  • 还是正在觉醒?
